Für Elise (For Elise) after 7 Years…

JADE IS 3 YEARS 11 MONTHS OLD WHEN WE RECORDED HER FIRST VERSION OF FUR ELISE. NEVER DID IT OCCUR TO ME THAT AFTER 7 YEARS, WE WILL BE RECORDING ANOTHER VERSION OF THIS SAME SONG – THIS TIME DONE BY HER LITTLE SISTER MEI.

MEI IS 4 YEARS 4 MONTHS OLD ON THIS VIDEO.

ENJOY!

Music milestone … there’s always a start to everything

This song is called, “The warm-up,” most difficult for first time piano players like my second daughter, making sure she uses the correct fingers to play each note.  Another musical journey with the second musician in the family.

Skaters’ Waltzin’ with Shades

Break… break… break from photography and cooking.

Spring recital 2011 she was 7 years old and played “The Skaters’ Waltz” by Emile Charles Waldteufel.

Awesome melody to my proud Momma ears.  Hard-work and perseverance are what it takes to enjoy this kind of performance at home.  I am glad and really overjoyed that my baby loves her music.

Enjoy!

Looking-glass River

Break from cooking…

This song was played by my daughter during her nightly piano practice. It’s a joy listening to how well she has developed her skills over the years.

I hope you enjoy this simple song as much as I did.

A break from cooking and photography.

I love listening to my short video collection of Jade’s music.  She works so hard on each song and we are simply proud of her.

Enjoy this song.  It’s called “Dance of the Irish” and for her age and level, this is a difficult song but she pulled-it-off well.

Good job Jade! …. and a pretty smile too 🙂

Spanish Dance on Piano

I asked my daughter to play this song yesterday while her cousin was online to watch her practice piano. At the video on the far side is my computer and there, my daughter’s cousin enjoying the sound of Malaguena from Manila.I am always fascinated by the fact that we can easily be with our loved-ones via the internet. At this age and time, I am very thankful for this kind of technology because it makes living apart from your family much easier and bearable.Malaguena is a Spanish dance song. I like it because I know that my daughter practiced a lot to make her playing sound really nice. I hope you enjoy this beautiful short song as much as I did.
